We use two GS1 standards to optimize our system:

GTIN (Global Trade Item Number)

Each product (standard boxes and bags in various sizes) is assigned a GTIN. This optimizes inventory management by allowing our software, for example, to efficiently reconcile box stock across multiple locations.

GRAI (Global Returnable Asset Identifier)

Every single bag or box is marked with a unique GRAI code. This makes it possible to track the cycles of individual containers and thus accurately calculate the CO2 emissions and costs saved.
