Reusable shipping packaging for industrial suppliers & component manufacturers

Industrial suppliers

If you supply the same plants, fillers or manufacturers on a regular basis, you ship along predictable routes - and that is exactly where reusable packaging shows its strengths.

With reusable shipping packaging from hey circle, direct material supply becomes a closed loop: no mountains of cardboard at your customer, robust protection and measurable savings.

94 % less packaging waste
76 % less CO2
53 % lower packaging costs
50 cycles per packaging on average

Box L compared with a single-use cardboard box of the same size containing 80 % recycled material, calculated over 50 cycles. Data source: Ökopol life cycle assessment. The 53 % are an average from real customer calculations.

How the loop works

The manufacturer ships its components in reusable packaging to regular customers. Unpacking works as usual - the empty packaging is folded flat, collected and sent back in bundles. After that, every unit is ready for use again straight away, on average for 50 cycles.

Whether it is circuit boards and connectors going to EMS plants or small batches going to fillers and contract packers: the goods flow runs regularly to the same customers, and that is exactly what creates the loop.

  • Pack & close

    • Place the components safely inside the packaging
    • Close the packaging with the all-round zip for tamper-evident protection - no tape needed
    • Optionally secure the shipment with a security seal against unnoticed opening
  • Ship

    • Stick the shipping label onto the label holder
    • Hand the parcel over to your parcel carrier as usual - in the normal parcel network, without a surcharge
    • Conveyor-ready: the packaging runs through the standard sorting process at parcel hubs
  • Return

    • Unpack at the customer - no cardboard disposal in goods-in
    • Fold the empty packaging flat, collect it and send it back in bundles
    • Ready for the next delivery as soon as it returns
  • Predictable routes

Regular customers, regular frequency - the more often the packaging runs, the bigger the advantage over single-use.

  • 3 x savings

According to the Ökopol life cycle assessment (2023), the hey circle Box L saves 94 % packaging waste and 76 % CO2 over 50 cycles compared with a single-use cardboard box of the same size containing 80 % recycled material. Packaging costs fall by 53 % on average, based on real customer calculations.

  • Robust & conveyor-ready

Dimensionally stable packaging, tested with up to 400 kg stacking load and in an 80 cm drop test - conveyor-ready in the standard sorting process, without a bulky goods surcharge.

  • Secure & measurable

Security seals make unnoticed opening visible. Cycles and savings are recorded via GRAI code in the IT system - ESG reporting included.

  • Regulation

The PPWR has applied since 12 August 2026. From 2030 it sets reuse targets for certain transport packaging such as plastic crates and pallets; boxes made of cardboard or paperboard are exempt. Whether your shipping is affected depends on format and supply relationship - we are happy to check this with you.
